Welp…NO ultrasound today. I requested one, and they said not unless they can’t hear the heartbeat. It’s apparently not the best idea to expose the baby to too many ultrasounds. I get it..I do. But, the huzz and I were sooo excited to see our nugget look a little more human. Not till the 20 week appointment they say! That’s less than 2 months away though! Yay!

It scared us for just a moment today when they were trying to find the heartbeat. It took a good 2 minutes. That’s way too long for me. The little dude (I think it’s a boy) was hiding in a corner! We did hear him kicking and pawing inside there. I teared up real real fast. The heart beat was in the 150s. They said it should be anywhere from 110-160…so they say this is ULTRA great. Our lil potuck is SO strong already! I’m also measuring out about a week and a half PAST what I actually am. This means that the lil one is growing fast and furiously! How exciting 🙂 Darren and I just pictured him…legs crossed, arms behind the head..just loungin’.

Also the doctor says I am super duper healthy…and I’ve only gained 2 lbs the whole first trimester. This is good. Next trimester…which I’m officially in now…I’ll see a bit more growth 😉  We decided to celebrate at Cracker Barrel. All I seem to want is breakfast food these days.Woo hoo! It’s a happy Tuesday over here in Potuckland I tell ya!
