I’m Tamara (I’ll be writing mostly on this little blog). I might try to make the husband write a funny post or two, because…well Darren is hilarious. No promises. Baby blogs are essentially girly after all. We decided it would be a great idea to let family and friends know on a weekly basis what’s happening with baby Potuck! What better and easier way than this? I’m assuming there will be new friends and unknowns who may wander into our world, and for that I leave you all with a bit of history:
The huzz and I have been marriaged (Darren’s way of saying married) since August of 2011. We’ve been together far longer than that. I met him and fell instantly and insanely in love at the sweet age of 23. I’m 30 now. It’s been some time. I still feel the same way, too. He’s the funniest fun fun fun human I’ve ever known. I’d say that even if we never got marriaged. 😉
Darren is a musician. Always has been. Always will be. He’s been a band man (look up AutoVaughn on the interneto) He’s been a rapper, too. That you can’t find anywhere online. I don’t think… Anyway, now he writes and produces and creates all day long. Don’t worry, I will shamelessly plug that stuff on here. Just give it time.
I’m a hairstylist and boutique salon owner. My studio is Ardon House Salon in Nashville, TN. I love my job more than I could have ever imagined loving a job. Who loves jobs, right? Going to work for me is like going to hang out with friends at another house that I own. And somehow when they leave they pay me. It seems illegal.
We already have a family of four. Except, I didn’t birth the kids we already have. They’re two perfect bears named Franklin Reginald Potuck (Frankie) and Bruce Jermaine Potuck (bru bru or bruce). They are Great Danes. And they are…for the most part…pretty great. We’ll fill you in on how they deal with a furless bro or sis…
So this is it. That’s a brief story of us…minus all the juicy chapters and what not. THIS chapter though…we are going to include you in. We’re excited about our first baby together. We’re building our human family, and we welcome you to experience the adventure with us!

Oh My Precious Tamara…………I’m so glad that a chapter of my life just ended so I can now spend lots of time with you. The story you wrote is “priceless” and of course I always knew you were my smart little gal. You, like me are the 6th child and so talented. I will keep checking on your added chapters and now………..back to cafe world where I left off last spring!

I just stumbled across your blog! So cute! Looks like we are due a week apart. I am literally dealing with all the exact same things you are . Same amount of weight gain, same aches, trouble sleeping and no food aversions to anything! You look great by the way! Cheers to baby girls!
